Range Rules

1) NO HUNTING ON CLUB PROPERTY
2) Any person may call for a cease fire and immediately suspend all shooting activity under an unsafe shooting condition. The range will remain closed until the unsafe condition has been corrected.
3) All targets must be signed prior to posting and removed upon exiting range. All legal targets must be a minimum of 6 inches off the ground and a maximum of 18 inches in front of the backstops.
4) No targets may be posted on or in front of the wooden frames or posts.
5) All firearms not in use must be unloaded and cased or in racks with the action open.
6) Upon a cease fire order being given for the placing of targets, all firearms must be unloaded and placed in racks with actions open, and strobe lights are to be turned on, prior to going down range. Any weapon or ammunition malfunction should result in the cease fire order being given and remain until weapon is cleared of any non fired ammunition.
7) There is to be NO handling of firearms for any reason while individuals are down range.
8) If more than one person is using the range, all users must appoint a range officer and obey their commands at all times.
9) At NO time may any glass object be fired at on the range.
10)Thin silhouettes are to be fired at with .22 LR rimfire only at a minimum distance of 40 meters. The thicker pistol silhouettes are to be fired at with straight-walled pistol calibers only, no larger than a .44 magnum. There are silhouettes permanently mounted at the 200 meter backstop for high power guns with soft point ammo only.
11)Shooting times must be strictly adhered to. They are Monday-Saturday 9:00 a.m.-dark and Sunday 10:00 a.m.-dark.
12)Members are responsible for any and all actions of their guests. All guests must sign the guest register prior to any actions on the range. This includes spectators.
13)Any person possessing, consuming, or under the influence of alcohol is strictly prohibited. Failure to adhere to this rule will result in immediate removal from the grounds, forfeiture of membership without any recourse, and LIFETIME barring from the club either as a member or guest with NO EXCEPTIONS.
14)Items left at the range are the responsibility of the member. The club assumes no responsibility for lost property.
15)The last person on club property is to close and lock the gate.
16)Safety first must be observed at all times. Eye and ear protection are required by all members and guest during all shooting activities.
17)All shots are to be directed downrange.
18)Muzzleloaders are not to be capped or primed until ready to shoot.
19)No fully automatic weapons allowed at any time.
20)Members and guests must sign in prior to shooting activities and guests should pay their fee at this time.
21) Membership cards are to be worn on your person in a visible location at all times.
